Dan has been in the cattle business his entire life. Kindi and the girls have been a part of this business since they have been in the family. We switched in the last 4-5 years from the emphasis on cost of gain and Ave. daily gain to the cost of carcass weight gain and added value to the carcass. We are striving to raise better quality cattle by feeding high oil corn and raising a different breed of cattle. At this time we are raising mostly blacks with an emphasis on Gardiner Angus bloodlines. We run our cattle on our own ranch grassland and we are members of USPB & Kitzmiller Grazing Assn. We have a cow/calf operation as well as run yearlings.
